7th Tradition. Although most of our face-to-face meetings are now virtual, and may have lower or even no group expenses, our Intergroup, Region 3, and World Service still need our constant support. Most groups follow the suggested 60/30/10 split suggested by the Overeater Anonymous 7th Tradition pamphlet. After expenses and a prudent reserve, 60% of the remainder is sent to our Intergroup, 30% is sent to World Service, and the final 10% sent to Region 3, using the Donation Form.
Effective 8/15/2020, Individuals or group treasurers may send their entire donations to the Intergroup Treasurer and specifically state that they want them shared with WSO and Region III and they will be divided according to the traditional 60% for Intergroup, 30% for World Service, and 10% for Region III. If there is no instruction to do so, the donation will go to Intergroup only, as usual. Use this Donation Form or include “60/30/10” in your note on Zelle or PayPal.
Through PayPal: To make online donations to our Southern Arizona Intergroup, you can go to your own PayPal account and send money to email@example.com. Be sure to enter your Meeting Group Number or Comment in the “Add a note” field. See the Detailed Instructions – PayPal document for more detailed instructions.
Through Zelle: If your bank is part of the Zelle network, you can send money to firstname.lastname@example.org and enter your Meeting Group Number or other information in the “What is this for?” field. Zelle has no fees.
Both Phone and Zoom Meeting lists below include a column for the Group Name & Number. Be sure to indicate those when sending your donation.

Virtual Meetings. Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus, many meetings have become phone or virtual meetings. See the Zoom Meeting List and the Phone Meeting List below. By the way, the Zoom List no longer provides the links since that can be one source of Zoom-hacking. Please contact the host listed for each meeting for the Meeting ID and the Password.
- Phone Meetings. Click HERE to view the current list of scheduled meetings.
- Zoom Meetings. Click HERE to view the current list of scheduled meetings. For some tips and techniques for Zoom sessions, please click HERE. Hosting a weekly OA Zoom Meeting would be similar to having the “key” to a location to open the meeting. Send an email to email@example.com to become a Meeting Host. To review what that entails, please click HERE to download a copy of the Guide. Once the meeting has been added to the Zoom Meetings List, the host will receive a Checklist for Zoom Hosts sent by email.
In Person Meetings. Click HERE to view the current list of in-person meetings.
Non-Real-Time Meetings. Click HERE to view a list of meetings that may take place over a period of hours or days. Examples of non-real-time meetings are email or bulletin loops, social media pages, bulletin boards or forums, and mobile applications.
Outreach Calls. During this time of isolation, outreach calls will be an important way for us to feel connected. Also, consider going to a non-local Phone Meeting or an Online Meeting listed on the OA website.
